  • Do you offer a free consultation?
    Yes! We offer a complimentary, 15-minute consultation call to all new inquires. We also like to call these discovery calls because they are a way for us to get to know you & your needs and explore if we are the right fit for you moving forward. Please contact us vis our website form or at about booking a discovery call or with any questions you have about our services!
  • What can I expect sessions to look like?
    After you've been placed with an appropriate BeyondWell clinician to suit your needs, most of our clinicians will then conduct a 60-90 minute initial assessment with you. This assessment will allow us to get a good feel for your struggles, your health history, and your current relationship with food, movement, and your body. We will also explore your concerns and goals that will guide our work together and future sessions. For adolescent clients, we recommend at least one parent or guardian be present for part of the initial assessment. Follow-up sessions are generally 30-60 minutes depending on frequency, need, and your specific provider. Together, clients and clinicians can determine the appropriate frequency of sessions based on clinical judgment and recommendations and client’s preference, availability, and finances.
  • Do you take insurance?
    Each clinician at BeyondWell KC is an independent practitioner with their own policies and procedures. You will be able to discuss insurance options with your BeyondWell clinician (see our team here).
  • What if I need to cancel a session?
    Each clinician at BeyondWell KC is an independent practitioner with their own policies and procedures so cancellation policies may vary. Please discuss this with your BeyondWell clinician (see our team here).
